Honestly I don't give a fuck whether Peter is married or not. All the alternate spider-people running around and constantly making Spider-man into a retarded pussy in his own book is more damaging to the character than his love life being written by balding fat men.
Don't get me wrong I think OMD is retarded but current year Spider-man would actually be good if it was written and drawn by the USM team, even with most of the same story beats. USM Peter actually feels like the same character as '60s Peter, just a bit more mellowed and a bit dumber out since he's gotten a lot of redhead pussy.
