People objectively, scientifically end up pairing up with people in same social and intelligence brackets. On those two things most relationships are equal. If you can only get mental trash, you are trash. Hypergous whores get no one because a partner too much above won't stay, and she doesn't want equal. But that's her problem. If you look for actual relationships and marriage it matters a lot. No one really wants to feel inferior with someone who they are supposed to be vulnarble with and entrust their lives to.
