Once you've read BLAME!, read BLAME! squared (the far future sequel), then the prequel manga, NOiSE. Next, read Abara, then Biomega. These are the "core" Nihei works. I find his art devolves from his next manga, Knights of Sidonia, onwards, but that's not to say he loses his magic, and he can still make impressive spreads with a huge sense of scale. Try his later works out if you're still itching for more Nihei, particularly his latest manga, Tower Dungeon, since I've heard good things about it (though I've yet to check it out myself).
