RANGE REBORT

The replacement Winchester Silvertip .22 was noticeably more accurate than anything else I had out today (CCI, Federal, Aguila). At ~160y the offhand group size was about half of everything else and I was able to hit a ~15" gong more times per mag with Silvertip than with everything else (~200rd) combined. I like it. Did have one stovepipe, picture related. Not sure if ammo related or just my thumb on the slide again.

Spoiler alert >>63821329 the cheapo Black Sheep was not the dirtiest cheapest shit they can find like Freedom and LAX. Couldn't tell a smoke difference between it and Winchester Service Grade or Maxxtech but it is a comfy powderpuff load which I liked.

I noticed a weird aberration going on with the Prodigy's zero though. Any type of ammo, when shooting at 25y I was hitting the left third of the target. But same ammo same shooting position switching to ~160y I was hitting dirt off the right side by some feet. Some kind of bizarre Wanted bullet curving magic I can't explain. If I compensate for either with Kentucky windage it would be on at that distance but would magnify the POI shift at the other distance. I wonder if it's my eyes somehow
