I don't think dockplomacy is buggy, just jank. You can avoid most of the 'bugs' like not trying to impregnate a female as a female or other dumb stuff that just isn't disabled when it should be. But I think dickplomacy reloaded is the best vanilla+ mod and I'm a coomer so I'm biased.
