>They have no cool lore
I disagree, like the other guy said they basically have another take of the saiyans lore.
>U7: Good saiyans like Yamoshi are erradicated. Saiyans become a race of evil retards. They destroy their own planet, Sadala, fighting eachother, and move to another planet. They are recruited by Freeza to be space conquerors, but Freeza destroys their new planet and kills them all (mostly)
>U6: Good saiyans thrive and become proud, righteous warriors. Saiyans are respectable and strong guys with plenty of S-Cells, Still live in Sadala and all that shit
The manga even has a few tibits that add more lore like how they USED to have tails but no longer have, which fits with Toriyama's explanation of tails being something that stop growing on saiyans once they are so strong they don't need the Ozaru boost to survive, or how their legendary saiyan is called "DEMON" saiyan instead of "Super" saiyan, given that since they aren't savage retards a berserker, bloodbath-loving saiyan wouldn't be praised as a superman but rather as a monster to be feared.
Even their appearances also fit the worldbuilding once you compare them to U7 saiyans. According to Toriyama nearly all saiyans were low class, and all low classes were either raised as engineers or turned into infiltration children, only joining the saiyan army once they survive and conquer their first plan. Jaco's manga says the reason saiyans grow like they do is because they stay small to appear defendless until they are ready to conquer the world they are sent to so you can see why saiyans as a race evolved to appear like children until puberty hits them like a truck and become adults in like a year. Meanwhile U6 saiyans? They appear to grow normally based on Cabbe, Caulifla and Kale. Why? Because they don't have infiltration children, their saiyans just evolved without the need to appear defendless for a long time.
It's genuine good lore, man.
