Yeah, four years ago, the Current Thing was all about canceling Canada Day after the mass graves of indigenous children were found:

the very next year, you had the Trucker Protests, where flag-waving Nazis used truck horns as instruments of terror against noble, hard-working bureaucrats, to the point that the flag was seen as a hate symbol.
But now, because of Drumpf, things are different.
Canadian patriotism is not just OK, it's not just fashionable, it's your duty!
And don't question the flip-flop, about-face.
