Fair enough, He's basically the standard Hollywood action hero archetype as envisioned by the Japanese. But I tend to find him endering.
It is clear that in most media with ensemble casts, there is always one character that's the true protagonist, In Futurama it's Fry and in RE it's clearly Chris.
