You don't go all in on goad. Goad is good at buying time for you to set up a board that's independently threatening once everybody is weakened or one or two are dead. Something like Kardur (it's goad fuck you) can play a pretty straightforward reanimator plan that can ether recur him to keep buying time or just bring back something huge that will win the game. The biggest mistake people make with goad is putting too much of it in their deck.
