I'm finally getting off my lazy ass and booking hotel rooms for me and my 2 friends in December, for pic related in Kanazawa. Some of these rooms are crazy cheap, so much cheaper than *anything* i'm used to here in the US/CAN. I'm even going through a booking website and it's only $110 for 3 people for a night. It almost makes me feel like i'm doing something wrong in the booking process for these to be so cheap.
