Can't vouch for current day capeshit, and go ahead and call it pulpy edgy melodrama but I'd take Kraven's Last Hunt or something like Grell's Green Arrow over pretty much any pandery shonenjumpshit or moecrap. I like them because I like the writers's ideas and the artwork was outstanding, not because of hype culture or coombaitery. OG Spidey comics are also fun to go back to, specially when you compare it to the rest of Ditko's output and watch his gradual descent into ostracism and madness.
