I still don't like the game. I'm glad peri dev explained himself when I voiced some complaints and I feel like he understood my points regarding game design.
After that I went back to the game and tried to continue, I reached belgrade and wasted so much time trying to explore and find my way around but ultimately just had to quit once more.
Restarting, Save scumming, Trying to cheese my way around, Ultimately just running past things, it feels so counter to what peri dev told me, about wanting to not follow "industry design patterns" or whatever. And everyone called him based for that. I don't get it, this is not fun, I'm not feeling like I'm immersed in the world instead I just feel like I'm constantly figuring out just how to break the game in a way I get through the level. Is that really the game he was trying to make?
