Probably reaching, but the way the world at large didn't seem too concerned about Hapna potentially killing billions, and how a lot of people were more concerned with comparatively petty bullshit (debt collectors, daddy issues, romance, etc) and disaster was only averted by a combination of luck and a handful of people actually bothering to investigate shit themselves. It's a weird moral, sort of "sure you might not be the most qualified, but no one else if bothering to try to save the world so you might as well try, maybe you'll actually do it"
