I graduated software engineering around 5 years ago. I worked in the startup scene and was able to start a fairly successful enterprise with some people I knew and walked away from it with my equity after the Series A fundraiser. Was lucky enough to own a house from my previous jobs and now I just rent my fucking house out and live at the lake with my nest egg. Saving for a 2nd property. Fuck working in STEM these days. Whole thing is rigged. Only way to make money in Canada these days is Crime, Real Estate or Politics. I'm trying my hand at all 3.
