You're seeing a lot of vitriol from the linkies themseles now because the project has existed since 2017, is a literal requirement to use if you don't want your shit hacked, is a requirement if you want to build anything Web3 worth a damn that isn't shifting memecoins back and forth, is literally the only crypto project being used by banks for their private blockchains, and Trump has Chainlink guys helping to advise on legislation on crypto in the US.
All of this and the price is in the dumps. While if you got in during ICO, you did fantastically. If you got in after that, but premainnet, you're doing well, but are likely in 6 figure hell. If you came in after that, you're probably in low 5 figures. That's jack squat. Most people are in 6 figure hell and late linkies are most certainly low 5 figures and anyone after 2021 hovers between breaking even and being in the red. This is demoralizing the heck out of the community because any other project would have made them multimillionaires by now with the amount of achievements they made.
This is why no one is taking >>60508738 seriously. He wasn't there for the Chainlink Crypto summit of 2019 where Sergey fat fingered a 70K Link send to binance, sent in a 630K fat finger send and then went on stage to give the same speech the entire link community at the time could have made.
