Its a fun gambit tho, the aux get bullied by space marines in melee but their gambit let's them forgo melee entirely and just shoot their pistols instead.

Auxilia marshals are BS5 and can take inferno pistols. Odds of hitting and wounding a Praetor with an inferno pistol are roughly 2/3, then your opponent rolls a successful invulnerable save or they take 6 damage and die.
