The Soarin & Braeburn and Apple Bottom and CarePackage have been completely resolved this episode.
I think the reason why the latter half of this movie was strangely paced is because Tamers just wanted to fully wrap up the Soarin, Braeburn, Applebottom, and Carepackage arcs and now those are done.
So now he can focus on the following stuff

>RariTwi affair
>Big Mac's love life
>Pinkie Dash's dysfunction
>Shining, Chrysalis, and Cadance drama
>Flawless's journey
>Mari x Starlight
>Starlight Glimmer's plans
>Whatever Sunset Shimmer is up to
>Celestia & Luna stuff
>Pinkie x Maud stuff
Yeah there's a lot of plot threads. I hope the Soarin, Braeburn, Apple Bottom, and CarePackage stuff are actually settled once and for all so we can move on to these other plots.
