Everyone knows Mirko is made for Rappa. I don't even recall Mirko speaking with Deku at any point in the manga.
On that note, why are MHA fans so prone to self-inserting into Deku? It was like this with Naruto too back in the day. It doesn't matter if it goes against his canon personality, he will be dark, edgy and get all the girls in the fanfics... Stuff like that, when Horikoshi clearly doesn't think he's about that.
