It doesn't have stamina, it has jumping, it gives you a good amount of attacks to use, it lets you cancel some moves into each other, it has a large variety of weapons with their own quirks which you equip two of and swap between midfight (even get a special parry move involving swapping), the enemies are designed around the player being able to dodge or jump over enemies to create attack opportunities, parrying does not widdle an enemies posture down, and when an enemies posture is filled you get to pop off with a combo for a short period.
Literally what more do you want. Sekiro is bad because they purposefully make dodging really bad and jumping over attacks is rarely worth it outside of the designated jumpable mikiri counters and you have almost nothing to work with in terms of offense, not to mention that parrying every attack you can will break enemies posture faster than killing them normally so it's always optimal to parry everything possible to take their posture down as quick as possible, with the exclusion of beast enemies. There is nothing to work with. Wo Long's parry is easy and it is good but better players will not overly rely on using it exclusively for defense, as there are better options you can use to take advantage of situations. Your dodge is good, your run is good, your jump is good. You can use all of those to create more openings.
Wo Long is severely underrated and misunderstood because people only look at the surface
