Where are all the seinen (adult male targeted) and josei (adult female targeted) games? Almost every Japanese game emulates stuff made for teenage boys (shonen) or girls (shojo), there's next to nothing made for adults that isn't porn, mindless gore, or shock humor.

Why is it so hard to find adult-targeted anime that has:

>A broad, interesting premise
>A cast of interesting characters that bounce off each other well
>An interesting cast of bad guys
>Visually flashy action
>A good balance of humor/action/drama
>A willingness to lean into dumb bullshit

Almost all the stuff like this is aimed at kids/teenagers, where's the stuff for adults that isn't a gorefest, CGDCT, porn, or misery porn?
