I've responded to point out the fact that many affected 4090 & 5090 owners still want their repaired cards back instead of settling for a cash refund. That's the demand.
Those cards are still safe enough to be sold in pre-built PCs; it's a risk that major system integrators are willing to take.

Blame AMD for not offering any performance alternative to satisfy that demand.
There are more 5090 owners than the RX 7600 XT install base.
