From what I remember, he was not even gonna get a cutscene but a single employee made because he wanted Garrosh to have some kind of send off.
With that in mind, it's still crap and the fan made version is better. yet some how, it's like the ONLY thing people liked about Shadowlands. Blizzard REALLY fucked up by killing off Garrosh.
