I did it because I need to train my spreadsheet and keyboard brain/hands to think in 3D and “feel da forms”. I think my basic gesture sketches are passable due to abstraction but anything I try to finish in earnest feels stiff and boxy. Maybe I shouldn’t use boxes so much, but I struggle to draw spheres and map lines on them to suggest volume plus general issues with draftsmanship and lines. Pic related is from 3 days ago where I didn’t focus as much on construction and just sketched on my couch.
