Klee already has a voiceline that mentions her mom and dad so if they retcon it, they'll have to change this voiceline. My bet is just that they'll never mention Klee's dad at all ever and it'll just be one of those random loose ends that will never be addressed, much like every Teyvat Travel Guide after Inazuma or where the Gourmet Supremos went.
