In summary:
>The prophecy has happened before, with Dess, Asriel and Seam as the 3 heroes
>Asriel as the prince, Dess as the girl and Seam as the cage (using Kris' original soul)
>The shadow crystals are likely the Knight's tears
>The knight is Dess after she tried to close the fountain but her soul shattered (since she is a monster, might be what happened to Gaster too) and her souless body is now stuck in a stage between light and dark (with her consciousnesses being UNUSED), and might be what the voice on the phone tells why Kris can't enter the dark world without a soul
>Maybe the pure crystal is putting back Dess' shattered soul
