Painting a car for the first time and I was using that plastic sheet masking shit. After I'd gone around the car once I noticed that flakes of primer were getting blown off this plastic shit. A couple of the smaller windows I covered in newspaper and didn't get this issue. It hasn't fucked anything yet as I've just gotten the primer down but would it help if I did a thick coat overlapping the plastic so it doesn't flake off like that and potentially end up landing on wet paint? Or does paint just not stick to that shit and I should newspaper all the glass?
