I have a .32 h&r
I have multiple .38 specials
I have two .357 magnums
Is .44 magnum worth it? I really keep thinking I want to get something that is more powerful and gives me more variety and fun. But I keep things about some detractions against it
* many people say the recoil is stupid, I won't want to shoot it much, or I'll just shoot .44 special out of it more
* These motherfuckers are expensive
It seems silly to buy a .44 anything and have it not be a magnum. But I keep hearing it is so unfun to shoot that I also think that maybe I could save a lot of money by just buying a .44 special from Charter Arms and have fun with it, while also being able to say I own something more powerful than .357 magnum. Plus I hear the .44 special is more powerful than full house .357 loads but the recoil is not unpleasant to shoot for fun. How true is that? And should I just go for a cheaper .44 special over the magnum?
