That’s Lusat’s brain. It is indeed a lot like Astel’s, if more blue and cat-like.

But both Azur and Lusat are wearing this amulet depicting the opening of the third eye. Both of them. You see them on their crowns, when worn, so too.

They’re clearly based on those mummies from Sekiro. The mummy monks. Or the Sokushinbutsu. Revered corpse sages - or “living Buddhas”.
