it's much better now, i can kill bosses in 2-3 barrier cycles instead of 20. boss fights aren't some hour-long test of endurance anymore. the generic soldiers are also much easier to kill so the normal stages go by a lot faster. i think they probably balanced the old T6 around the transcendence system but transcendence wasn't ready to ship with the patch.
also, they added ultrawide support
