Ron hate iirc rightfully started when "Harmony" (Harry/Hermione) shippers pointed out that Hermione and Ron would be a fucking awful couple because they disagree on basically everything and would probably end up beating each other in less than a week. But then after Harmony retreated to its own little communities, Dracotroons and the like basically used the existing hate of Ron and sometimes of Ginny and blew it up to eleven because it allowed Draco and other evil characters to get away unscathed. This eventually grew to portraying the whole Weasley family as pure evil

Note that Weasley bashing is not the only "honored" tradition in these circles. You also have Dumbledore basing (where Dumbledore is either a complete moron who has no clue how things work or a massive asshole doing things for "the Greater Good(TM)", AKA what benefits him), Hermione bashing (where Hermione is a massive nerd emoji bitch who actually doesn't give a shit about anyone and is an arrogant twit) and similar awful takes
