I don't think you understand my point. This is not about balancing as much as it is about immersion and thematic cohesion. The healing in this game feels completely tagged on to attract Souls players. It has no thematic explanation why it is there. No one talks about these, there is no explanation on how it works or why it was introduced, how it changed combat. Only ACs ever heal. there is never any talk on why. (PvP would also be much improved with double AP since ammo could now be a relevant factor for balancing)
I could go on and on. My point is: It is a glaring flaw seemingly informed by marketing in an otherwise well thought out game where gameplay and worldbuilding work in tandem.
