I don't even think it's a useful term, based on how I've seen it used. It's pretty much always deployed for a pejorative purpose, and not as an actual genre descriptor. At least outside of gacha (which is widely derided).
Anons will insist they're using it in a value neutral way, but you can tell they're always trying to make "a point." It's silly.
If UO is an autobattler, every turn-based RPG and RTS must also be an autobattler. Okay then...how does that help me differentiate Fire Emblem from Pikmin?
