Over a year since Shadow, does anyone have a coherent timeline of events? I've been reading elsewhere some baloney about Marika having been married to a serpent god that was venerated or worshipped by the Hornsent, except the only evidence of this is the snake sin in Bonny Village. Hornsent doesn't talk about a serpent, he only talks about his people being fucked by Messemer. Ymir doesn't mention a serpent either.

It's difficult to enjoy this game like the other From Software games when so much of what I want to know isn't there. Why even have Radagon and Marika be separate aspects of the same being if it's not entirely relevant in some Jungian Shadow way? Ditto Miquella and Trina - the way the game is now, if you made these four characters individual entities, nothing about the story changes. Absolutely nothing.
