I was raised on a pretty standard, fat ass American diet. Maybe healthier than the current one cause my mom cooked and we only got fast food maybe 2/3 times a month. Lots of Italian food, soda, burgers, deli meat sandwiches, chili, candy, that stuff.
Purely through years of monotony and spite, I've kind of lost my taste for rich, indulgent sweets like chocolate, buy wheat instead of white bread for it's slightly different texture, and I try to load up stuff like burgers and chili with vegetables when I used to prefer meat on a plain bun or just chili. I got a real taste for spicy now when I hated it as a kid, I like the sourness of plain yogurt and I'm really into the watery "fresh" taste of stuff like cucumbers and pico de gallo now. I want to try to expand my bitter and sour palette, but it all seems to be more sugary candy.

I like Fred. He'll usually keep the IRL recipe pretty damn close to the cartoon / fictional cooking. And he isn't afraid to cook something awful then give it a frown and a thumbs down. I think he donates most of the food he makes to shelters. I know he made a good living as a chef for most of his life so most of his youtube money gets sent to charity.
I do hate going into the comments and seeing "PROTECT FRED AT ALL COSTS". Idk man, if I was an old man I kept seeing that I'd feel like everyone is just viewing me as like a comically fragile cartoon caricacture and constantly be reminded of how old I am. I am getting sick of him using the "Jeffrey Bezos" song.
