>playing a casual LGS tournament with 8~ people
>Tell my opponent that while my clanrats have shields on the model, literally none of them have shields. I tell him this twice.
>He says its fine its no big deal and we play
>Pretty sure he forgets to charge, claims that he didn't charge actually is because he thought my clanrats had shields.
>Just reaffirm that none have shields casually so he can charge whatever
>Complains that it's providing an advantage and calls a judge to see if anything can be done
>Judge clearly doesn't care and that people are using proxies everywhere, even points to someone using a little plastic rubbery ducky as their Daemon Prince. As long as your opponent clearly states what a unit has or does not have, and it's not confusing to tell them apart, its no big deal.
>Opponent seems pissy but carries on
>After game he basically lectures me about how this stuff is important because it completely changes how people approach games based on the models
Am I in the wrong here to feel pissed? It didn't seem that much of a big deal to me, especially since its just a casual tournament.
