Those are patterns built from anecdotal experience which is a very stupid thing to use for building a coherent worldview. If your detecting patterns while researching real things you will find things that dont align with stuff like racism. Let's say you researched the crime levels of Manila and compared them to those of a city like Detroit and so you come to see that theirs something else at play. And let's say you researched the murder rates in Nordic countries during the middle ages and early modern period and you find that they are just as bad as subsaharan countries. If your actually eager to know the truth and not simply satisfied with justifying your resentment than no you wouldn't come out bigoted just because of pattern recognition.
