It's not just the surgeries, the human body is simply not designed to lift big weights. Moderate strength training + cardio will always be superior to powershitting/bodydestroying. If you want to be strong and actually healthy you sould follow advice from guys who are old and still WALKING like Scooby who is 65 and runs marathons
