I said this a few threads ago so I feel bad repeating it but I think it's just that anons (myself included, and the show has grown on me) have issue with how passive the main trio is. Most episodes, the main thing they do is just decided by Haruno. They have some say in what happens during each trip, but I think most people want the 3 man girls each wanting to do things of their own volition and having fun, rather than afro's self insert telling them what to do each episode. It doesn't help that what's being done is often just blatant tourism shilling. I don't think people would magically like the show more if it were identical but with an additional 20 seconds of photography every episode, I think they just wanted the MCs to decide the pace a bit more.
