and I think that while there is only one ending, Chapter 0 will be about going to the past and changing things so that Kris never ends up with [The Soul] replacing their original soul. And if successful, it will trigger a montage where the rest of the game's major events play out as normal but with the context that this time around Kris is truly acting on their own free will rather than being an indentured puppet
