It's a shame, because of the episodic structure and stretched out release schedule kind of diminished Ramb's importance even further. In the full game, playing blind, Ramb showing you into the back room to play that game would have been the biggest hint to the player to go back to Chapter 2 and happen upon the Weird Route organically.

Also, I've now convinced myself that the Shadow Mantle belongs to the Knight/Dess originally. Noelle's coded line for declining to wear it makes so much more sense then. She can tell that it's for someone taller cause she can recognize it's something belonging to Dess.

Which also adds to the theory that ERAM is just The Knight/Dess fucking with us. She's pushing our buttons so we'll get amped up, then gives us a tool to actually try and beat her with so we can prove ourselves and get the Shadow Crystal and Black Shard from her.

I don't want them or their storylines crossing over in any way. Small update about my parents' possible divorce, apparently my mom went through my dad's phone and believes he is having an "emotional affair" with his female coworker. She also thinks he has had sex with this coworker (ie actual affair) although he denies it
For some reason she installed a new doorknob on the master bedroom, I think maybe one of them broke the old one out of anger but I'm not sure. Maybe installing it was unnecessary but symbolic to say he wasn't welcome in there idk.
My dad apparently "vented" / "trash talked" about my mom sometimes to this coworker. He didn't seem to have ever sexted her though.

The first time it clearly wasn't trying very hard to take her. We saw how fast it nabbed Undyne and bolted. Trying to take Toriel seemed like more of a feint to bait the heroes and Undyne with.

And in Chapter 4, it's clearly looking for something or someone, and everyone just assumes it's looking for Toriel.
But what if she's actually there looking for someone else, like maybe Alvin? The guy who really should have been present in the chapter but never showed up.
He even seems to be the one that dug up his father's hammer and put it in his desk going by the dialogue from Chapter 2. I have an insane crack theory that I know nobody else will agree with.
There will be no direct connections between Undertale and Deltarune.
Deltarune is not a sequel or a prequel or part of a multiverse. Deltarune is Toby Fox's (literal) dream game and Undertale was his compromise when he thought he'd never be able to make Deltarune.
The obvious shared elements between the two games are a mix of references, and Toby Fox using ideas from Deltarune for Undertale (because, again, he never thought he'd actually be able to make Deltarune).
But the way most Deltarune theorists are so obsessed with Undertale feels like they're missing the point.
There will be no big moment where the two games connect into one whole.
