Yeah, I don't know if the FRIEND stuff will be involved with HOW Dess wound up in the Dark or what Carol and Asgore are up to. I think they're them and Kris are the ones responsible for Dess winding up there, FRIEND just found her while she was lost.

Though the "children followed the pointed tail" thing may imply that FRIEND did have a hand in it, so not entirely sure there.
