i hope toby writes dess as an asshole who likes to bully kris because it would make a beautiful greek tragedy in the context of the rest of the game
also one of the endings of the game could be you rescuing dess and gifting her her freedom despite everything she's done to you (just like le spamton fight)

random theory but I think the intro to chapter 2 where Toriel says "is that a knife? NOOO!!" is actually a flashback where Kris stabbed somebody and this was Tori's reaction to finding out. The emotion Tori has in the text and the emotion she has in the pie tin cutscene do not match at all. Toby also did this in Undertale after you fall down in Waterfall
