The trick with the arrows is that the red arrow always lands first - you can ignore everything else (such as movement speed, etc) Once you get that they're pretty easy.
I really struggled with the hammer throwing attacks until I realized you should be dodging at the bottom of the screen instead of the middle.

Took me a few hours, and honestly I think the winning run was due to luck and just muscle memory rather then me getting gud. That fucking spinning slash across the box though I never learned, that shit ALWAYS got me at least twice. I have no clue how people no hit that shit. Still really liked the fight though.


2- Gerson
I'm a little surprised that people had such an easy time with Gerson, because he kicked my ass for about half an hour to an hour. My only excuse was that I was exhausted when I did it, thinking it'd be quick. I get that it's more of a "training" rather than a real fight, but his fight lacking a lot of the other stuff that other fights had because of it made the fight the least fun out of the four.

3- Jevil
Even ignoring the fact that he's an early boss and that you don't have some of the items/acts that you get for later bosses, some of his moves can be pretty tricky to dodge, like the carousel or the wheel of knives. I died twice to him, and he's actually the reason I gave a shit about Deltarune beyond the survey program.

4- Spamton
Spamton is super fucking easy, even on snowgrave. I never died to him once.

I think both these fights are honestly the best Deltarune has to offer.

2. Spamton
I liked his fight a lot, but I think his fight falls a bit behind Jevil and the Knight just because of how easy it is. I do like how for some of his moves you can both dodge or be on the offensive, but none of them are particularly difficult.

3. Gerson
I actually liked some of the chapter fights better then his honestly.

It's pretty easy actually. The amount of damaging surface area on the screen is really small. If you have to take a hit, get right behind the blade immediately after it hits and just follow it around the box.

Kris was instructed to create a Dark World in their house so Toriel could be taken, but set up Undyne to be taken instead by getting Toriel to call the police and leaving the front door open when they made the fountain
The Knight, Dess, was probably in on this and would rather take Undyne than put Toriel in danger. Tenna was instructed to keep Toriel safe and sleeping and keep The Fun Gang busy for as long as possible, the plan was to stall long enough for Undyne to arrive so she could be taken instead.
Just Undyne being gone should make it impossible to get into the Shelter, since you need all three codes, but the Dark World at the church was probably meant to trap Toriel again. Except she didn't come to the Church because it rained, and The Knight realized this so they were just fucking with you for the entire Chapter. Even summoning the TItan at the end was probably just a test to see what they would do, The Knight could probably kill a Titan easily with the Black Knife.
