The Knight has no unavoidable attacks in battle though. There's several no-hit videos of this, and there's even unique dialogue for doing this. The only difference between The Knight's attacks and others in cutscenes is the fact damage numbers and SWOON pop up for Tenna and the gang, however these are clearly used to emphasise the sheer strength of the Knight, so that our 100ish damage seems pitiable compared to the 5000+ damage it does to Tenna.

The only other unavoidable attacks come from that single section near the end of Chapter 4 when our SOUL lights up and everyone's taking damage to protect the others. This isn't in a battle and does fixed damage to make sure everyone's left at 1 hp.

Kris is in school at the time, and Noelle and Berdly are also in school so somehow the TWO SMARTEST CHARACTERS IN THAT CLASS collectivly decided, oh, we're going to walk into this dark as shit room and sit down, oh no we are falling, which is fucking bullshit because it relies entirly on the reactions of 2 people who can afford to wait for Kris and Susie to come since Noelle literally left you two by the school closet, she doesn't HAVE to enter the uberdarkness and could have easily freezed up on seeing it and an ENTIRE 12+ HOUR PLAN would have gone up in fucking smoke, not even Susie was stupid enough to hang around in the dark closet and we only went through Chapter 1 because SOMEONE ELSE locked the damn door on us

It is literally easier to hide in the big serverspace beforehand and just wait for someone to come in and then flood the room with the Dark Fountain Darkness via opening the serverdoor, removes every bit of randomness from the equation because you can easily target select people and, if caught in the server room you can just say your there to avoid the traffic rush and checking everything with the server itself is fine due to the internet issues

Just as the Freedom Schizos are aligned with Chaos Cat in their attempts to break the prophecy, Kris is aligned with Law Dog in his attempt to enforce the prophecy.

The Knight made the library fountain because of the closet that could fit a large person inside, which is referenced in ch4 (and blatantly implies the Knight is still inside in that one, which is why Kris refuses to open it)
