Ralsei has been my favorite character since Chapter 1 but he was so shady throughout the fourth chapter that I got fed up and told him to keep smiling

Now that I think about it, when Ralsei talked about him thinking that prophecy might change if they were kind enough, he was talking about Kris. Ever since meeting them, Ralsei has done nothing but try to be perfect little servant for Kris in naive belief that they were just sad and needed a friendly face, a tasty cake, a comforting word etc. in order to avoid prophecy.
