I wonder what the significance of the [Pipis] could be.
Spamton proudly declares he's always been a man of the [Pipis], and he thinks of it as a sign that Tenna also cares about something.
Tenna gets booed by the audience and he knows it shameful when they find out he has one, so it's clear most people find it weird. Then he says they are hypocrites and everybody does it.
Susie and Ralsei also find it weird when you pick it up, and they both refuse to eat it, so neither are a [Pipis Person]. Kris is the only one in the gang who eats it and gains +100 HP outside of battle.
So Spamton, Tenna, and Kris seem to be the only ones who are okay with them.
