Would you be enthused about your fiancé starting an undergrad at the age of 28 with a plan to get his Masters and hopefully PhD, or would you think its a stupid idea? I'd be going into Chemistry, Biopharmaceutical Science, or Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering. Maybe specializing in Analytical Chemistry. I'm tired of working dead end jobs and always wanted to be a chemist in industry. My family thinks its a horrible idea but my gf is very enthusiastic. I'd be supporting myself with student loans and I do have the opportunity to collect disability for my back, which I should hear back about soon since I applied awhile ago (you can collect disability and get student loans). I literally can't keep working factory jobs so I figure this is the best course to do something I'd enjoy for the rest of my life. By the time I got to my Masters I'd be getting paid by the university.
