I'll give you guys a basic rundown on how to lucid dream:
>keep a dream journal
the FIRST THING you need to do every morning is to write down your dreams. If you don't remember anything, just write down "couldn't remember" and try again tomorrow, at some point your brain will get the memo and you'll start to remember them
>be more present (and maybe meditate)
this one sounds schizo, but try to be more "in the moment". check your phone less, stop overthinking, try to live life in the present through your senses. the more you pay attention to your senses in the real world, the more vivid they'll be in the dream world. meditation also helps for some reason
>decide on a technique
there are a billion techniques out there, but the two big main types are WILD and DILD.
WILD techniques you do before sleeping, usually after waking up 6 hours after going to bed. when you do them, you'll be thrown straight into the dream from the real world.
DILD techniques involve you trying to realize you're dreaming, and going lucid from that.
Just read "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge if you want more in-depth knowledge about how lucid dreaming works. This is the OG book on LDing and all other books are just schizo slop.
