i dont think its possible to "fix" oily skin type with any product
moisturizers should usually be oil free. geek&gorgeous vitamin c serum makes me forget about my oily forhead until pm routine. products with silica also help with oiliness i believe. long term usage of niacinmide and retinoids can help but ymmv

first time retinols are usually cerave, olay24 or neutrogena. if adapalene is otc in your country then go for it instead
