Shinobu is the best kind because hers is dependent on what people think so she could work in anyway you want if you believe hard enough. I don't remember stakes being stated as specifically deadly to vampires in Monogatari, but I'm sure if you stabbed her with one passionately enough after a long battle, it could kill her. There are probably suburbs in America haunted by moody teen vamps while stiff hopping ones make a mess in villages in China. The way oddities work is truly entertaining. Although it was stated that modern ones are shifting more towards strange complex cerebral stuff instead of just being simple monsters. Doesn't help that groups like vampires also have specific hunting parties that have nearly exterminated them.
